BillApp ("we", "us") is a billing app for sales representatives and distributors in Sri Lanka, made by Fox Design. This policy explains what information the BillApp Android app and website collect and how it is used.

Information you give us

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and a Google account ID. In the app you enter business details (business name, address, phone, registration numbers, logo, signature), products, shops/customers, invoices, payments, returns and cheque photos.

Location

BillApp uses your phone's location to save where each shop is and to recognise the shop you are visiting. Location is used only while you use the app, is stored with your shops and invoices, and is not sold or used for advertising.

Camera, Bluetooth and files

The camera is used to scan barcodes and photograph cheques. Bluetooth is used only to connect to your receipt printer. Invoice PDFs are created on your phone and shared only when you choose to.

Where your data is stored

Your data is saved on your phone first so the app works offline. When you are signed in and online it is backed up to our secure cloud database (Google Firebase). If you connect Google Sheets, BillApp creates one spreadsheet in your own Google Drive and can only access the file it created (Google's "drive.file" permission). We cannot see your other Drive files.

Payments

Purchases inside the app are handled by Google Play. Payments on our website are handled by PayHere. We never see or store your card number; we only receive confirmation that a payment was made.

How we use information

To run the app, keep your invoice credit balance, provide support, prevent misuse and improve BillApp. We do not sell personal information. Shop and customer details you enter belong to you and are used only to provide the service to you.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that run BillApp (Google Firebase, Google Play, PayHere), when you ask us to (for example an owner account you link to), or when required by Sri Lankan law.

Your choices

You can edit or delete products, shops and invoices in the app, disconnect Google Sheets at any time, and ask us to delete your account and cloud data by contacting us. Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your phone.

Children

BillApp is a business tool and is not intended for children under 16.
